Vol. 06 / The Scoping CallMain Street, U.S.A.The Practitioner’s Press2026

Section 01 / The session that ends in a plan

The Scoping Call. Forty-five minutes that ends in a written brief.

Cobblemark starts engagements with a scoping session. We use it to understand your business, the gap you want to address, and the outcome that matters to you, then produce a written plan tied to those business outcomes. It is designed for independent retailers, practices, restaurants, real estate teams, and other local businesses. Share that context in the intake below, or pick a Calendly slot and walk through the same three steps when you are ready.

Section 02 / The walk through the 45

What 45 minutes looks like, step by step.

The agenda for the call. Each step ends in something you keep — a map, a number, a brief — even if Cobblemark is not the right shop for the work that follows.

Step 01

Offer & buyers

A clean read of the offer, the buyers, the price point that already works — and the channels already running today. What is working, what is not, and where the gap actually lives.

What you leave with: an honest map of the business on day one.

Step 02

North-Star number

The dated number the next two quarters should bend — closed commission volume, monthly bookings, signed listings, channel-attributed revenue — written down and pressure-tested against the current-state gap.

What you leave with: one number, dated, the work will be measured against.

Step 03

A written brief

Channels, cadence, spend, milestones, and the deliverable cadence — anchored to the North-Star. Delivered within the week. Even if Cobblemark is not the right shop, the brief is yours to keep and hand to any operator.

What you leave with: a written brief by Friday.

Section 03 / What you keep

Three things you walk away with.

Every deliverable below is yours to keep even if the scoping call is the last conversation. The brief is written for handing to any operator, not just Cobblemark.

What you keep

A one-page brief

A written plan you can give to any operator and have the work match.

What you keep

A North-Star number

One dated number the next two quarters bend — expressed in revenue, bookings, or signed listings.

What you keep

A spend cadence

A monthly budget envelope and the channels it bends — honest, not aspirational.

Section 04 / The intake

Drop your business into three fields.

The intake lives in three fields: name, email, message. The message is where the business, the niche, and the gap land — in your own words, read before the call. The scoping session comes first, followed by a written plan tied to the business outcome you want to support. Submit and the lead lands in the founder’s triage queue at /dashboard/leads, destined for Cobblemark’s mailbag within one business day.

What to include in the write-up:

  • ·Your offer — what the business actually sells, and the price point that already works.
  • ·Your business name — so the recipient mark knows which mailbag to file this under.
  • ·Your niche — the bucket (retail, restaurant, dental, real-estate, professional services) the work lands in.
  • ·Your biggest concern — the gap that brought you to this page, in your own words.
  • ·A target outcome — expressed in revenue, bookings, or signed listings, dated.

We reply from cobblemark@polsia.app within one business day. Anything time-sensitive can skip the intake and email that address directly.

Skip the write-up — book the 45 minutes direct

Pick the slot. Cobblemark runs the same three steps.

If the write-up feels like friction, /book is open in a new tab — paste the same five prompts into the calendar invite, and the team runs the same three-step walk in person. The deliverable is identical.
